About

My name is Michael. First of his name in house Daniel, I am the second son of three, one of the infamous ‘Daniel boys’. Perhaps you have heard of us?
I grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am an engineer, a carpenter, a marine biologist, a surfer, a diver, a climber, a guitarist, a lover of life and a seeker of laughs.

I can say the alphabet backwards.
I can walk in a straight line with my eyes closed.
I learnt boat landing logistics in the Seychelles and I can lift canoes onto roof racks with ease.
Animals trust me.
I can hold my breathe for 2 minutes.
I can cook rice to perfection, every time.
I can descale and gut a fish and I can play Piano Man on a guitar.
I can complete every sudoku ever devised (almost).
I ride bicycles both up and down hills.
I can run faster than most children and I never forget the sunscreen.

I wear speedos in public.
I learnt to code artificial intelligence in one week, and b
aboons make me nervous.
I can show you how to come second in a swimming race down a sand dune.
I wear an apron when I cook, and I read books.

And this is the life that I’m living...
